Alan Long, a veteran of Toyota Motorsport, a dear friend, and a well-liked member of the Toyota community. The world feels a little bit more empty without Alan’s lively presence, and his loss has left a vacuum that cannot be filled.
Alan, who many Evenflow fans lovingly refer to as “Alan Alan,” was more than just a name; he was a representation of the essence that made automobile culture and motorsport so unique. Alan was more than just a seasoned athlete to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a real character, a crowd-pleaser, a joker, and an all-around wonderful boy whose contagious enthusiasm impacted everyone he came into contact with. His warmth, humour, and the unwavering optimism he brought with him everywhere he went captivated you from the moment you first met him.
The loss of Alan is a heartbreaking one. It feels as though a part of our own family is gone, and we will forever miss his smile, his stories, and his larger-than-life personality. But while we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life. We celebrate the memories he gave us, the lessons he taught us, and the joy he brought to our lives. His legacy will live on in every car meet, in every Toyota event, and in the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Alan Alan, good bye. I appreciate everything you’ve done. During this extremely trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with your family and loved ones. We will always remember you because of the lasting impression you have made on all of us.
